We’re really excited to announce the appointment of Dr Beth Reynaert as our new Chair of Trustees. With a degree in Applied Biology from Cardiff University and a Ph.D in Biochemistry from University College London, Beth worked as a researcher in prominent UK laboratories before pivoting into Education in 2002. After 22 years of frontline educational leadership, she remains committed to equity in education; championing inclusivity from her most recent post as Senior Deputy Head at an all-through school in Oxfordshire. Previously Chair of the Curriculum and Standards Committee at a state secondary in Reading, Beth earned a strong reputation for challenging with rigour, humility and kindness. She brings to the Linacre Chair role extensive experience of learning and development, school operations, strategy, culture and student engagement. She is curious about everything, is an avid reader and believes in empowering all young people, whatever their circumstance, to find their voice, and in doing so to develop the skills and humility needed for future leadership.
